Transfer News: Daniel James a target for Leicester City
According to transfer news from Leicestershire Live, Manchester United forward Daniel James is a target for Leicester City. The Foxes are looking for a right-winger in the market and it would seem the Welsh speedster is of interest to them.
Leicester are looking to complete their transfer dealings early in the season. They have already signed the likes of Patson Daka, Boubakary Soumare and Ryan Bertrand. However, they are still said to looking for a right-winger to replace Cengiz Under.
One name that is likely to be on their radar is that of Daniel James. The Welsh winger has not had the best of times over the last two seasons at United. He has performed well in patches but has not been able to nail down a starting berth.
Now with Sancho’s impending arrival at United, James could find his game time further reduced. This is where Leicester could use him after the departure of Cengiz Under. James does look in good touch after what fans saw in the Euros, where he was in action for Wales.

It is unlikely that James displaces any of the established starters any time soon. However, sitting on the benches for prolonged periods of time is also not helping him develop. A temporary move away to Leicester might do him some good.
