Manchester United to listen to offers for Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek

According to transfer news from Daily Star, Manchester United are willing to listen to offers for Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek. Manchester United are planning some player sales in a bid to raise funds and free up some cash for new arrivals.

Martial failed to build on a successful 2020 season. He was also bogged down by injury problems. By the end of the campaign, Edinson Cavani had displaced him as the starting striker in the side.

Donny van de Beek came to United with a good reputation from Ajax. He was one of the only few big-money signings from last season. However, he has struggled to fit into this United side, scoring only once.

There have been enquiries about the duo and Manchester United have not ruled out the possibility of an exit. Both of them could be sold if their realistic valuations are met. United are looking to raise funds for some new arrivals.

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has told the club to solely focus on securing Jadon Sancho rather than also monitor his alternatives.

More Manchester United News:

While the stance on Martial is understandable, Van de Beek’s looks too harsh. The Dutchman has been at the club only for a season and has not got his chances. In the few that he did, he showed some quality. Also, in the case of Martial, United should not sell him if they cannot land a new striker.
