Manchester United Transfer News: Juventus to offer Cristiano Ronaldo or Paulo Dybala for Paul Pogba
According to transfer news from ESPN, Juventus are willing to offer Paulo Dybala or Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United in a swap deal for Paul Pogba. The Italian side are struggling with funds and are hoping to offer one of their own stars to re-sign their former midfielder.
The French superstar is in the final year of his contract at United. With him potentially set to leave on a free transfer next year, the Red Devils have a major decision to make this summer. Juventus, now once again under the management of Massimiliano Allegri, are keen to rebuild their midfield. The Turin giants endured a difficult season and will be keen to rebuild for the upcoming one.
Pogba is no stranger to Turin, having spent four seasons at Juventus. In fact, it was with the Italians that he developed into a truly world-class player. Whether a second innings is in the offing remains to be seen.
It is clear that Juventus want their former star back. However, with finances on the tight end, they are looking at swap deals. In order to sign Pogba, Juve are offering either Ronaldo or Dybala in a swap deal. Dybala is in the same situation as Pogba while Ronaldo has been linked with a move back to United.

It is fair to say that Pogba on his day is amongst the best players in world football. While Ronaldo’s return would be the stuff of dreams, he is past his best. Neither is Dybala in the best of forms. United will do well to take the pragmatic route rather than the romantic one. After all, we should be looking at the future and not relive the glories of the past.
