Fans react as Manchester United wonderkid Amad Diallo scores sensational match-winner for Ivory coast

There was much hype when Manchester United signed Amad Diallo from Atalanta last January.

The youngster arrived with huge expectations and it is fair to say that he appears to be the real deal. He has already made eight appearances for United, scoring one goal and making another assist. (h/t Transfermarkt)

While he is still a work in progress, there have been enough moments to indicate he could have a long and successful stay at the Theatre of Dreams.

He served up yet another reminder of his prodigious talent in Ivory Coast’s win over Burkina Faso last night. With the scores tied at 1-1, the 19-year-old drove in an unstoppable freekick in the seventh minute of stoppage time to win the game for his country.

The well-hit strike was aimed for the top corner giving the opposition goalkeeper no chance. It was his first goal for his country and a memorable one at that.
