Transfer News: Jack Grealish fuels links to Manchester United

According to transfer news from Metro, Jack Grealish has fuelled speculation regarding links to Manchester United. The Aston Villa captain liked a fan’s Tweet in which the fan was desperately asking the player to join United.

United were heavily linked with the player in recent windows. The Villa skipper is today one of the best midfielders in the league.

The midfielder has often singlehandedly carried Villa in recent seasons to respectable finishes. Grealish only signed a new deal last year that should keep him at Villa Park until the summer of 2025.

The 25-year-old has 6 goals and 12 assists this season and has led from the front. He leads the club’s assist tally despite being injured for most of this year.

However, Grealish might just have given some ammunition to the exit links to United. He recently retweeted a clip of Wayne Rooney in the 2004 Euros.

Then, he liked a reply from a United fan who asked him to join the club. As expected, the player removed the like but it was enough to send everyone into a frenzy.

United will need to act fast if they want the Aston Villa talisman. Man City are already planning a British record move for him. A proven candidate, adding Grealish to our ranks would be an excellent move. However, it does not appear to be straightforward lest we say easy on the pocket.
