Transfer News: Chelsea to pass up on Manchester United target Harry Kane

According to transfer news from Express, Chelsea are all set to pass up on the signature of Manchester United target Harry Kane. This does come as good news given how Manchester United have been after the Tottenham striker for a while now.

The 27-year-old has been a consistent performer for Spurs for a number of years, racking up goals and assists. However, his individual brilliance has failed to land him a single major trophy so far.

With the North Londoners set for another rebuild, Kane does not appear to be willing to spend his prime waiting for a turnaround that may never come.

Kane’s admission has seen the likes of United, Manchester City and Chelsea all reach out to the player’s representatives in an effort to sign him. The player is keen to stay in the Premier League.

Now, a recent report has claimed that Chelsea have ruled themselves out of the running for Kane. It has been said that the Blues are not going to go after any big-money striker unless they can sell Tammy Abraham. Even if they do, they will not match the valuation Daniel Levy sets for Kane.

It does bode well to have one less club to compete with for the signing of one of Europe’s hottest strikers. Chelsea ruling themselves out still leaves City in the running. Nonetheless, it is still a boost for United, who want the striker.
