Manchester United fans call for the club to sign Leicester star Wesley Fofana

Manchester United fans will be forgiven for feeling envious watching Wesley Fofana put in a commanding performance for Leicester City.

The Foxes defender was imperious on Saturday night as they beat Chelsea 1-0 at Wembley to win their first FA Cup. He is the kind of commanding defender that Old Trafford is keen to welcome this summer.

He was calm and looked unfazed as Chelsea threw wave after wave at the Leicester defence. Still 20, the youngster defied his age to put in a stellar performance at the biggest stage in English football.

United are in the market for a centre-back this summer and have an eye on Fofana. The player, however, does not appear to be keen to leave the King Power Stadium just yet.

While the 20-year-old is not our top choice, it is fair to say that his performance yesterday will have enhanced his reputation. Also given his experience of playing in the Premier League, it remains to be seen if he should be higher up in our wishlist.
