Manchester United fans react as Avram Glazer refuses to apologize for Super League fiasco
According to Sky Sports, Avram Glazer refused to apologize for Manchester United taking part in the European Super League’s formation.
The incident occurred yesterday in Florida when Sky reporter Sally Lockwood caught up with the United owner. Not only did he refuse to apologize but also refused to talk at all on camera.
That comes as no surprise to a fanbase who have had minimal interaction with their American owners. It has been the case for the last 16 years since they took over in 2005.
Avram’s reaction will have done little to win favour with the fan base, who are up in arms against the Glazer family. Protests have taken place regularly at Old Trafford while a pitch invasion last Sunday saw our game against Liverpool being postponed.
Fellow owner Joel Glazer recently penned an open letter to fans urging the need for renewing trust. It would appear that once again, they have failed to match their words with actions.
We take a look at how some fans reacted to the incident on Twitter.

He didn’t refuse to apologise, he refused to speak at all. Showing yet again, they are in it for a business investment, don’t care about the fans, and are not invested in the heritage or future of the CLUB. I hate everything they represent. GET THEM OUT. #GlazersOut #MUFC

Is anyone shocked by this? I’ve seen nothing from the Glaziers to suggest they arent all about busines and money first and foremost.

I’d be asking for an apology for him associating that haircut with my club if I was a Man U fan. That’s a far more pressing concern. Ffs.
