Solskjaer to unleash Manchester United wonderkids Hannibal Mejbri and Anthony Elanga once title bid is over

According to The Daily Star, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to unleash two promising youth stars, Hannibal Mejbri and Anthony Elanga, once the club’s Premier League title charge comes to an end.

Yesterday’s goalless draw against Leeds United at Elland Road effectively leaves us in need of a miracle to overtake Manchester City at the top. The Blues could be crowned champions as early as the coming weekend if results go in their favour.

Despite having his back to the wall, Solskjaer is not ready to concede defeat yet. He will keep striving to go top until it is mathematically impossible.

While we will not be holding our breath for a miracle of grand proportions, dropping out of the race could prove to be a boon in the long run.

This is because the Norwegian intends to give both Hannibal Mejbri and Anthony Elanga a run in the first-team once we drop out of the title race.

Both youngsters have impressed at the youth level and may have already made their first-team bows if not for injuries. Two of the best talents coming through at the club, their development could be fast-tracked if they do manage to get minutes on the pitch.

Anthony Elanga is in line to make his first team debut

Solskjaer has shown that he is willing to give youth a chance. He did just that last season in our Europa League run and this campaign too with both Amad Diallo and Shola Shoretire.
