Fans react as Manchester United fail to break down Leeds United at Elland Road

Manchester United fans showed more heart and desire off the field than the players did on it against Leeds United at Elland Road.

With nothing short of three points needed to keep pressure on Manchester City in the Premier League title race, the game lacked the intensity expected of a side fighting to the finish, as the contest ended 0-0.

This effectively sees United hand City more leeway and Pep Guardiola’s side could wrap up the title as early as next matchday. If our performance today was anything to go by, even a win against Liverpool will only buy us a stay of execution.

Speaking ahead of the game, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted that the chance of it ending 0-0 was dim given the attacking nature of both sides. Both sets of players however appeared determined to prove him otherwise and did just that.

The Red Devils made one change to the starting lineup that beat Burnley last time around. Daniel James came in for Paul Pogba but failed to generate any spark in attack.
