Manchester United Transfer News: David De Gea could be loaned out

According to transfer news from Sports Mole, Manchester United could loan out David De Gea next season. The club are very likely to send the keeper out on loan due to various factors and eventually look to move him on a permanent basis.

It is understood that De Gea’s future is uncertain and his huge wages are a factor. De Gea could be the most likely to move on given his wages and reluctance to be the second choice.

However, given the current economic situation, no team could spend much on him and a loan deal is being mooted.

The big Spaniard has seemingly lost his undisputed No.1 spot in the side with Dean Henderson unofficially the first choice between the sticks.

The change of guard was visible this week with Henderson retaining his place in the league game against Brighton and De Gea having to man the posts in the midweek Europa League game.

De Gea still has more than two years left on his contract but has been linked with a move nonetheless. Dean Henderson capitalised on De Gea’s absence due to paternity leave and made 7 consecutive starts.

More Manchester United News:

It will be a summer of huge decisions for United with both keepers wanting first-team minutes and neither the quality for the second choice. It is clear that one of the two keepers at United could leave the club next summer and from the looks of it, it could well be De Gea, even if it’s on a temporary basis.
