Manchester United target Nikola Milenkovic keen to move to England

According to Corriere Fiorentina (h/t The Express), Manchester United target Nikola Milenkovic is keen to move to England in the summer.

The 23-year-old is one of the best young defenders in the Serie A and has just over a year to go on his current deal. Fiorentina have been unable to convince him to stay and may be forced to cash in on him in the summer.

The Red Devils are in the market for a new defender and Milenkovic is one of the players on our radar. Thankfully, the player too appears to be keen to move to the Premier League.

While the Red Devils are also linked to Real Madrid star Raphael Varane. The Frenchman is a much superior player and is in his prime. But he will cost a significant amount of money in the current scenario.

Milenkovic, meanwhile, is a cheaper alternative and could be available for as little as £25m. This pales in comparison to the £60m Real are seeking for Varane.

The best is yet to come!

United are keen to target a promising young player and Milenkovic certainly fits the bill. Still just 23, he has his best years ahead of him and could prove to be a long-term solution.

Milenkovic looks up to Nemanja Vidic and has admitted that he tries to model his game on the United great. While he has big boots to fill, there is no reason why lightning cannot strike twice.
