Amad Diallo wins Manchester United Goal of the Month award

Amad Diallo has been awarded the Goal of the Month award by Manchester United for his strike against AC Milan (h/t manutd.com). The Ivorian scored a superb header against the Italian side in the first leg as he gave United the lead.

It was his first goal in United colours and it was quite well taken. His instinctive run and flicked header looped over Gianluigi Donnarumma to nestle in the back of the net.

Amad Diallo has made a bright start to his Manchester United career and he’s shown a lot of promise so far. We’re a club known to promote young talents and it begins to look like Diallo might be the next big thing at the club alongside Mason Greenwood and Scott McTominay.

Let’s hope he continues to grow down the right trajectory and not fade away with time.

The goal is sure to have given the youngster some much-needed confidence early in his Old Trafford career. The fact that it came in a European competition is all the reason for him to be happier.

Here’s how the fans reacted on Twitter.
