Luis Suarez has some high praise for on-loan Man United youngster in La Liga

Luis Suarez has given words of encouragement for Manchester United loanee Facundo Pellistri

According to the Mirror, Luis Suarez has sent some encouraging words towards his compatriot and Manchester United youngster Facundo Pellistri.

The winger is on loan at Deportivo Alaves from Manchester United. He was signed by the club last summer but after the arrival of Amad Diallo in January, he was sent on loan to the La Liga side.

It was decided that Pellistri would benefit from some first-team football after mostly playing for the U-23s during the initial months. He is currently starting to flourish at Alaves, starting their last four games.

As Deportivo took on Atletico Madrid, Luis Suarez scored an important milestone goal. His 500th career goal made sure Atleti got all three points. However, Pellistri, playing on the right wing, was hardly fazed by the star names as he shone bright with his play.

Following the game, Suarez took to social media and posted a picture with Pellistri and had an encouraging message for his compatriot.

“A pleasure @facu_pellistri, continue like this and good things will come.”

Indeed, that is glowing praise from a player who knows a thing or two about scoring. Pellistri has shown a lot of potential ever since his Penarol days. Hence, it is good that he is flourishing at the La Liga club currently. Hopefully, in the future, he can show the same for Manchester United.
