Raphinha speaks out on his future after links to Manchester United

According to Metro, Raphinha feels happy and settled at Leeds United amidst links to Manchester United. The 24-year-old has been an impressive addition to the newly-promoted side this season and has dazzled fans with his skills.

The Brazilian winger came on to the Red Devils’ radar after his eye-catching performances for the Whites. He has produced 5 goals and assists each in the Premier League this season.

United are the latest club to have registered their interest in the tricky winger. While they have a decent attack, they are looking beyond this season and a potential Edinson Cavani departure.

However, Raphinha’s comment on a move away from the club could put a dampener on Manchester United’s pursuit of the Brazilian.

‘I’m really happy and so satisfied to be a part of this club. And when I found that Leeds were interested for me and they wanted me and the way they accepted me, the way I was embraced, the way I was treated on arrival here means and I am really happy now.

Today, I’m really well settled in the city and the club. I thank everybody for their affection. They contributed to this.’

The 24-year-old has done fantastically this season for Leeds and has been one of their chief threats. His eye for a pass, or just those tricks, flicks and dribbles, everything he has done, has managed to catch the eye.
