Four players to square off for Manchester United POTM for February
Unlike other months, Manchester United have nominated four players for February’s Player of the Month award.
According to the club’s official site, the Red Devils were unable to whittle their choices down to three and were forced to name four candidates for the monthly gong.
The chosen quartert include Bruno Fernandes, Luke Shaw, Daniel James and Scott McTominay. All four of them have been instrumental as the Red Devils look to usurp Manchester City at the top of the table.
February saw United go unbeaten across eight matches in all competitions. It included a record-equalling 9-0 victory over Southampton that saw us dominate the Saints from start to finish.
One name on the list, Fernandes has made it a habit to be nominated for the award. He was the Man of the Match in three of the eight games and is developing into a default choice every month. The midfielder scored six goals in February.
The same goes for Luke Shaw who is experiencing a resurgent season. He is one of our best players and has not put a step wrong this season.
Scott McTominay is a roving presence in midfield and has now started to add goals to his game. He scored thrice in February and has been a dominant presence in the midfield.
Daniel James is another player on a comeback tour. The Welshman has worked his way back into the starting XI and is now experiencing a purple patch. With three goals in five games, he has proven to be an ace up Solskjaer’s sleeve.

The winner will be picked by fans, who can log on to the club’s official app to vote. The voting will close on 3rd March and the winner will be announced soon after.
Other players who did not make the cut include Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
