Mino Raiola takes a jab at Solskjaer regarding Paul Pogba
According to Express, superagent Mino Raiola has sparked off another war of words, this time with Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Italian who represents Paul Pogba made a surprise statement last December revealing that his client is on the way out the coming summer.
A little under two months since, he has pointedly refused to be drawn into revealing anything regarding Pogba in order to not ‘hurt’ sentiments.
“Pogba must be left alone. I can’t speak about Pogba because I have the impression people are very nervous, they don’t sleep at night.”
Raiola believes the onus is on him to work out a deal for his client in the summer. Rather than make a big show about it, he intends to work on it in the shadows.
“I have always worked in the shadows and I must continue to do so.”
Pogba’s contract at United expires in 2022. Solskjaer recently hinted that the Frenchman could be offered an extension, insisting his midfielder ace is content at Old Trafford.
While Raiola has not explicitly said anything this time around, his silence speaks louder. It remains to be seen if anyone at the club will respond to what can be seen as a provocation.
Pogba for his part has hit top form since Raiola’s comments and has aided United’s unlikely title push. Currently out injured, it remains to be seen how the club copes in his absence.
After all, it could very well be something they will need to do in a few months time.

With the summer window just months away, United will need to make a move on what they decide to do regarding Pogba.
With just a year left on his contract, the summer will represent the last opportunity United have to recoup a decent transfer fee for the Frenchman.
