As per the report, Milan have the opportunity to make the deal permanent for €17million. While the Italians were said to be willing to make the deal permanent. An offer has not yet gone in.

If this is an indication of them being unsure, rest assured that they have company. United also are caught in two minds regarding the full-back’s future. (h/t Express)

The 21-year-old was signed by Manchester United for £20m from FC Porto in 2018. He has shown flashes of brilliance but has failed to put together a series of good performances. Injuries too have hardly helped his case.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is the undisputed first-choice right-back at Old Trafford. While the 24-year-old is a dependable defender, he does have some way to go when it comes to his attacking output.

United are keen to bring in competition for the Englishman. In Dalot, they do have a player who is keen to prove a point. Whether they decide to retain his services remains to be seen.
