Solskjaer refuses to rule out Lingard and Williams exits from Manchester United
According to Chronicle Live, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has refused to rule out Jesse Lingard and Brandon Williams leaving the club on loan this January.
Both players have found opportunities hard to come by this season and have largely spent time on the periphery. There has however been considerable interest from other teams, who are looking to loan them.
“No deal has been struck for any players yet going out, there is still a little period left.”

The Magpies and the Hammers are also keen on Williams, who has also drawn interest from Southampton. The 20-year-old is ready to leave the club in search of regular game time elsewhere. (h/t MEN)
With just days left before the January transfer window slams shut, time is running out for an agreement to be reached. Solskjaer admitted that a number of clubs are keen on both the players and refused to rule out a deal being struck.
“There have been many clubs interested in our players, so let’s see what happens.”
According to Manchester Evening News, United could choose to hold onto Williams thanks to the departure of Timothy Fosu-Mensah. However, the youngster played just three games all season before moving to Bayer Leverkusen.
Williams has seen his development stall in recent months and will do well to move elsewhere.
