Manchester United star Paul Pogba had a golden chance to end not only Liverpool’s proud home streak but also improve our lead at the top last Sunday.
The Frenchman’s second-half strike, however, was saved by an excellent Alisson Becker who reacted quickly and effectively. Given how close the title race is this season, it could prove to be yet another margin of error that could have larger consequences.

United skipper Harry Maguire sympathized with the midfielder while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told him to forget it.

With us set to take on Jurgen Klopp’s side in the FA Cup later this week, Pogba can set the record straight at Old Trafford.

United took a safety-first approach and could have been in deep trouble had the Liverpool strikers had their shooting boots on. United did, however, have the better chances on the night, albeit limited.
