Manchester United duo Teden Mengi and Dylan Levitt attracting interest
According to MEN, Manchester United duo, Dylan Levitt and Teden Mengi have been attracting attention from clubs keen to take them on loan.
Both players have plenty of suitors from the Championship and also League One. United are weighing up the options and are yet to make a decision on the players future.
Levitt originally joined League One side, Charlton, on a season-long loan in the summer. However, he made just five appearances, necessitating United to cut short his spell at the Valley.
The 20-year-old is a product of the Manchester United youth academy. He gradually progressed through the ranks, making his first-team debut for the Red Devils last season. So far, it remains his solitary appearance for the club.
With the senior squad well-stocked, the chances of him getting another run in the starting XI is minute. It remains to be seen if guaranteed playing time elsewhere will sway United’s opinion.
Mengi too made his senior debut last season. While he has not featured for the first-team since, the solitary appearance left an impression on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The 18-year-old is effectively the club’s fifth choice center-back. This given Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo’s fall from favour. A number of lower league clubs have already enquired about his availability.
While keeping them both on in the youth setup is well and good, United will do well not to ignore any advances that include guaranteed playing time. This will only help accelerate the development of both the players for the future.

Levitt and Mengi are not the only United youngsters in demand. Midfielder Ethan Galbraith and goalkeeper Matej Kovar could also depart the club on loan this month.
They both were recalled from Charlton and Swindon respectively this month. United will now reassess what to do with them.
