Amad Diallo cannot wait to get started at Manchester United
Amad Diallo was finally unveiled as a Manchester United player yesterday. With his visa approved, he is now set to join up with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad.
The 18-year-old is one of the best young talents to come out of Italy in recent years. highly-rated. Primarily a right-winger, the youngster excels in a position United are currently lacking in.
Speaking to the club’s official site, Diallo is impatient to get his career at Old Trafford started. He is eager to impress and make a name for himself at the club.
“I’m over the moon to be here.”
The player has described the switch as a dream come true. Hopefully, he will live up to the hype and prove to be yet another solid investment.
“I’m so excited to start here at Manchester United. It’s a dream come true and I can’t wait to start and play with the guys.”
The deal to bring him to the Theatre of Dreams was agreed in the summer itself. What followed was half a year of the player looking forward to donning the famous red jersey.
Diallo admits he did not get the game time he hoped for at Atalanta. He now has his eyes set on starting games for United.
“I’m very happy to be here. I’m expecting a lot from my experience here and I’m looking forward to starting.”
He is however unlikely to start right off the bat. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently admitted that he would ease the winger into his United setup. (h/t Sky Sports)

Diallo is not the only high-profile youngster to join the club in recent windows. Uruguayan starlet Facundo Pellistri moved to United from Penarol.
The Uruguayan could have shown Diallo what lies ahead. The 18-year-old is expected to train with the first-team while gaining experience of English football with the Under-23s.
Much is expected of the youngster at United. The club will do well to help him ease into his new surroundings.
