His performances have caught the eye of some of Europe’s biggest teams. United are said to be the team most keen. It comes as no surprise given our youth recruitment of late.

Amad Diallo and Facundo Pellistri are among a number of talented youngsters the club have signed in the past few windows.

The Red Devils are currently in talks with the player’s representatives but are yet to make an offer for Demir’s services. Vienna have placed an asking price tag of £8.9m on the player, who is also on Barcelona’s radar. (h/t The Express)

While Demir is keen to succeed with Rapid Vienna, he has also underlined his hopes of playing for a top team in the future.

There are few teams in world football that can match United’s legacy and lure. He would certainly be achieving his dream should he decide to come to Manchester. After all, Old Trafford is not called the Theatre of Dreams for nothing.
