Donny van de Beek does want to give interviews anymore due to being upset at Manchester United

A report by Dutch outlet Soccer News (h/t Mirror) states that Donny van de Beek ‘does not want to give interviews’ anymore due to being disappointed at Manchester United.

The Dutch midfielder has had to wait for his opportunities at United this season. He has struggled for consistent game time since his £35million move from Ajax in the summer.

He had to wait until late November to be handed his debut and has since failed to feature regularly for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side. In fact, he was on the bench for the last 3 Premier League games.

He was advised by Dutch media to ‘pack his bags and leave’ if he was benched against Manchester City in the League Cup semi-final. He ended up featuring for just two minutes in the 2-0 loss for the Red Devils.

And now, it is reported that he is ‘upset’ and ‘disappointed’ at the club, and does not want to give interviews as a result. Van de Beek’s lack of game time has been a major talking point in recent weeks.

Van de Beek lacks playing time

Just recently, he was advised by Frank de Boer to clarify where he stands with the club. The former Dutch international said to AD (h/t Mirror) that he should be looking for game time to feature in the Euros next summer.
