Man United fans react on Twitter as Solskjaer bottles yet another semi-final

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now led Man United to four major semifinals and has lost them all.

The Norwegian had stated that United would have no excuses if they failed to make the final of the Carabao Cup. Given our performance on the night, there was plenty to go by.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now led Manchester United to four major semifinals and contrived to lose them all. We look at how fans reacted to the latest setback on Twitter.
Manchester United have lost yet again at the semifinal stage

Second-half strikes by John Stones and Fernandinho ensured Pep Guardiola’s side made it to a fourth straight League Cup final. They will now face off against a Tottenham Hotspur side led by Solskjaer’s predecessor Jose Mourinho.

There is still much to play for this season, including what is looking like a genuine Premier League title challenge. Whether Solskjaer can lead us over the finish line and land a trophy this season, remains to be seen.

If last night was anything to go by, both he and his players will need to step up their game. We take a look at how some fans reacted to the loss on Twitter.
