Fans react as Marcus Rashford sends Manchester United second
Marcus Rashford was once again the hero as Manchester United ensured they kept up the heat on league leaders Liverpool.
The Red Devils looked to be heading for another draw but the English international had other ideas. His goal in the third minute of stoppage time sent fans and players wild as United moved to second spot.
United now trail Liverpool by a measly two points. The Merseysiders could extend the lead to five points tonight but will have played a game more.
With the likes of Chelsea and Leicester City dropping points, United are emerging as the most probable contenders to challenge Liverpool for the title.
The clamour for it will only grow as long as we keep pulling it out of the hat. We travel to Anfield on January 17 for what could be a potential six-pointer. With Rashford in our team, anything is possible.
Fans were justifiably excited following the win. We take a look at how few of them reacted.

You’ll win more than you’ll lose, sometimes Vardy misses the goal and it still goes in and sometimes the football Gods smile and we take home the 3 points
