Aaron Wan-Bissaka returns to training as Manchester United receive a massive injury boost
A report by Metro states that Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka returned to training with the first-team on Sunday at Carrington after recovering from his injury.
This will be welcome news for the team and the fanbase alike, as the team has had troubles providing cover for him in his absence. Two centre-backs were used by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to cover for the English full-back.
The Red Devils started Axel Tuanzebe at right-back against Everton in the Carabao quarter-final. United won 2-0 but went with a different solution in the 2-2 draw against Leicester City last weekend.
Solskjaer fielded Victor Lindelof on the right-hand side, who perpetually struggled to deal with the threat of Harvey Barnes. To make matters worse, he was forced off with a back injury in the 66th minute.
It was made clear that Lindelof would be a major doubt for the clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Tuesday night. However, there is finally some good news on that front.
A return to action soon?
Aaron Wan-Bissaka was present in the training ground on Sunday and appeared in the photographs taken at Carrington. This means that the 23-year-old could be in line to feature against Wolves. (h/t Metro)
After missing out on a chance to pull closer to league leaders Liverpool, United will be hoping to return to winning ways. And for that, Solskjaer would know that having a full-strength squad is vital.

Wolverhampton Wanderers come on the back of a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur and have had 32 hours fewer than Manchester United to rest and regroup for the fixture on Tuesday.
A win against Nuno Espirito Santo’s side would rocket United back to the second spot if results elsewhere go in our favour. An official update on Wan-Bissaka’s return is yet to arrive, however.
