Harry Maguire insists Manchester United can lift the Carabao Cup
According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United skipper Harry Maguire has set his sights on Carabao Cup glory this season.
United moved to the semifinals of the competition with a 2-0 win over Everton yesterday night. The Red Devils will now face arch-rivals Manchester City in the last four.
Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial scored late on to ensure United came away from Goodison Park once again with a win.

The Red Devils have not won any trophies since the 2016/17 season. Incidentally, that was also the campaign where we last won the League Cup.
With just two wins separating us from a repeat, Maguire is keen for United to go all the way. He believes it is imperative for a club such as ours to keep adding honours.
“When you play for Manchester United you expect to win trophies.”

The match against City will be a repeat of last season’s semi-finals. Unlike last year’s campaign, this year’s last-four fixtures will be decided in a single tie and not like the usual two-legged fixture.
Pep Guardiola’s side got the better of us last time. Hopefully, we can get back at them this time around. After all, as Maguire says, playing and winning in the biggest games is something synonymous with United.
“It’s about winning the big games and lifting trophies for this club.”
