Bruno Fernandes expects Manchester United to qualify for the UCL knockout stages

According to The Daily Star, Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes expects the club to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages.

The Red Devils went into the game against PSG needing just one point from the last two games. However having lost to the Fench chamions, we have all to play for in Germany against Leipzig.

With the Germans needing to win, the game is likely to be well contested. It is exactly the final day drama we could have done without given our schedule.

Despite being put in a tricky spot, Fernandes is confident United can overcome the odds against them. He expressed the same on Instagram yesterday night after the game.

Fernandes expressed the need to fight on until the end and is confident that the team will do what needs to be done.

We will however have to face the Germans without Fred. The Brazilian was sent off for a second yellow after bringing down Ander Herrera in the second half.

Having won our first two games in the group, not qualifying for the knockout stages would be catastrophic.

It was always going to be tough negotiating the group of death. However, having gained nine out of the first 12 points, we can only blame ourselves if we fail to see it through.
