Manchester United duo Lindelof and Martial could miss West Brom Albion clash due to injuries
According to MEN, Manchester United could be without two key first-team players for this weekend’s clash against West Brom Albion owing to injuries.
Both Victor Lindelof and Anthony Martial have picked up back issues while on international duty with Sweden and France respectively.
United are coming on the back of an impressive win against Everton at Goodison Park. In what was our best performance in the league so far, the Red Devils showed much promise.

This weekend’s clash against the Baggies gives us the chance to get our first league win of the season. As yet, we have just one point from four games at Old Trafford.
Swedish outlet Football Skanalen (h/t The Daily Star) reports that Lindelof needed treatment on his back in the recent training session. He did feature for the Swedes against France night but could not see it out due to a back problem. (h/t MEN)
It is not the first time in recent weeks that the defender has suffered from the issue. Lindelof was substituted at half-time during United’s defeat to Istanbul Basaksehir but managed to play the full game against Everton.

Martial meanwhile has been training alone after also suffering a back issue against Portugal. He was an unused substitute as France defeated Lindelof’s Sweden yesterday night.
Lindelof and Martial are not the only players to worry Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Phil Jones and Luke Shaw are out until December. Meanwhile, the likes of Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, Eric Bailly, and Jesse Lingard are all under scrutiny. (h/t The Daily Star)

United will continue to monitor the progress of the injured duo leading up to the weekend. Even if they do not feature, United have enough in their tank to defeat a struggling West Bromwich Albion.
However, we must not be overconfident. Chelsea almost paid the price earlier this season. Hopefully, we will approach it with the intent of getting nothing less than a win.
