According to Spanish publication AS via FourFourTwo (h/t Daily Mail), Manchester United are ready to cut their losses on Paul Pogba.

The club’s record signing, Pogba has struggled to consistently hit his peak at Old Trafford. He has in fact endured a difficult start to the season and has been at the forefront of some poor performances.

He was once again in the news against Arsenal when he gave away the penalty for the Gunners’ winner.

Pogba has also seen himself relegated to the bench of late. This in spite of the club faring poorly.

Four years after bringing him to Old Trafford, United are prepared to sell the Frenchman. Pogba’s current deal at Old Trafford runs until 2022.

United are ready to accept £53million for the 27-year-old. This is good news for both Real Madrid and Juventus.

Real managed by Zinedine Zidane were constantly linked with Pogba last summer. In fact, he was tipped to move to the Spanish capital before the coronavirus pandemic hit.

Zidane to this day remains a fan of his French compatriot. Real however have made Kylian Mbappe their major summer target for 2022. Whether United’s willingness to sell will make them move for Pogba remains to be seen.

Another team who could return for Pogba is former club Juventus. The Old Lady’s Juventus transfer chief Fabio Paratici has refused to rule out a move for the player next summer.
