Team News: Boost for Man United as two key attackers are available to face Leipzig

Manchester United have an almost full-strength squad to face RB Leipzig

According to the club’s official site, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has positive news regarding our Champions League clash against RB Leipzig.

Edinson Cavani and Mason Greenwood are both available for our first home game in the competition in over a year.

A win against Leipzig will see us top the group for now and take a massive step towards the last 16.

“It’s more or less the same squad.”

Cavani and Greenwood both missed the trip to PSG last week. With the duo now available, we can make use of our best attack to face the German giants.

United will however be without both Eric Bailly and Jesse Lingard. Anthony Martial will also be available despite his domestic ban.

Two more players who could return to the line-up is Axel Tuanzebe and Alex Telles. The latter made his debut for the club against PSG and impressed in the trip to the Parc des Princes.

United have used the midfield duo of Fred and Scott McTominay to good effect in recent weeks. Solskjaer might have hinted at continuing to use the duo once again tomorrow.

The likes of Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, and Donny van de Beek will all have to once again settle for a place on the bench.

This will be the first meeting between both teams in their history. Having been drawn in the group of death, every point will matter.

It promises to be an excellent match and United can once again make a point against one of last season’s top four teams.
