Twitter reacts as Marcus Rashford emerges as Manchester United hero against PSG
Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has once again proven to be the bane to PSG in the Champions League.
The English international drive home a stoppage-time penalty as United dumped the French giants out of the competition in 2019. It completed a remarkable turnaround where we came down from a 2-0 first-leg deficit.
While it may not have been as remarkable this time around, the result was not any less impressive.
In a match that saw both teams go end to end, Bruno Fernandes gave United the lead from the penalty spot. An unfortunate Anthony Martial drew PSG level in the second half as the game picked up steam.
Rashford once again had the last laugh as he did well to rifle in a shot past a hapless Keylor Navas.
While it was not our best performance, there was enough about it to suggest that the club can make a turn for the best. Hopefully, this is just the start of an upsurge in form that will see us grow in confidence as the season wears on.
But for now, Rashford has once again got the better of French wonderkid Kylian Mbappe. Long may it continue. We take a look at how fans reacted to the result.
