Donny van de Beek was our first signing of the summer while Facundo Pellistri is another youngster that was nabbed by the club.

The report claims that we were interested in the 18-year-old Brazilian but chose to sign Pellistri from Penarol.

Magno has made a name for himself since breaking into the first-team (h/t Mirror). The 18-year-old was also included in the Guardian’s list of Next Generation 2019.

Struggles for Magno

The Guardian added that the winger wasn’t scared of using his skills and taking on experienced opponents.

However, Magno has struggled a bit this season after fracturing a metatarsal in February (h/t Guardian).

The 18-year-old lifted the U17 World Cup with Brazil in 2019. And he seems to be one of the names to keep an eye out for.

United made a couple of smart moves in landing Pellistri and Amad Diallo. Pellistri is already at United while Diallo is with Atalanta and will join up in January.

The Ivorian is one of the brightest talents in Serie A and at 18, he has a lot of quality years left in him.

Pellistri is also only 18 and it will be interesting to see how the pair do for the rest of the campaign.
