Real Madrid and Barcelona eyeing Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes

According to The Sun, Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are keen on Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes.

The 26-year-old has emerged as a key player for the club since joining from Sporting Lisbon in January. He has since played a key role in our top-four finish at the end of last season.

The Portuguese star has been at the heart of what United have done right in recent months. It is fair to say he is one of the first names on the team sheet.

The midfielder was said to have fallen out with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his teammates during the 6-1 humbling against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.

While Fernandes has denied any unease with his peers, there is a lack of clarity as to what really is the case. It remains to be seen if the Spanish duo are keen to take advantage of this alleged incident.

United got back to winning ways against Newcastle United yesterday. Fernandes was on the scoresheet as the Red Devils overcame a 1-0 deficit to triumph 4-1.

The player also had a goal chalked off for offside and had a penalty saved. On another day, he could have well landed himself a hat-trick.

Fernandes is easily one of our key players. Given his performances, it is only natural that other clubs would be interested.

Hopefully, he will stay on at Old Trafford and continue to impress as he has done so far.
