Cavani has been entrusted with the iconic No.7 jersey. Previously worn by the likes of George Best, Eric Cantona, David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo, the number has seen the last few occupants struggle to make an impact

Hopefully, the 33-year-old will end that jinx while also paving the way for our youngsters to reach their full potential.

It is said that whatever one does, they learn it by doing. In Cavani, United have a player who has played in some of world football’s biggest games and knows precisely how to get the job done.
