Manchester United wanted to negotiate a lower transfer fee for the former Manchester City academy man. However, Dortmund held firm on their stance, which meant the club’s effort to sign him proved futile. (h/t MEN)

But, it is now claimed that the club could revisit their interest in the England international during the January transfer window, even though it will be hard to coax him away from Dortmund midway through the campaign. (h/t MEN)
