Manchester United fans react as Edinson Cavani transfer is imminent
According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are close to announcing Edinson Cavani.
The player looks set to sign a contract at Old Trafford until 2022. All details pertaining to the move including the agent fee has been agreed upon.
It would be just a matter of time before the deal is made official. Despite being 33, the Uruguayan is still amongst the most clinical strikers in world football.
At the very least, he is an upgrade over Odion Ighalo. The Nigerian has failed to replicate last season’s form and has struggled to make an impact.

Cavani was a part of a fearsome front three at PSG that included Kylian Mbappe and Neymar. He arrives at Untied having won a plethora of trophies.
An experienced player at the highest level, he will also prove to be an excellent role model for the youngsters at the club.
We take a look at how fans reacted to the news of the signing.

Worth a punt, put martial on his toes, if he doesn’t perform there is a (former) world class striker ready to step in and hopefully prove everyone wrong. Prolific in his day, let’s hope(well I hope anyway) he brings his shooting boots with him.

I get us united fans are angry about not getting the priority signings. Cavani could be a good player for us. Give him a chance, don’t write him off before even seeing him play in the united shirt
