Boost for Manchester United as Borussia Dortmund ready to take a lower fee for Jadon Sancho

According to The Scottish Sun (h/t Express), Borussia Dortmund are willing to lower their asking price for Manchester United target Jadon Sancho.

This will come as a boost for United who have pursued the player all summer. One of the best young players in world football, the addition of Sancho will be a statement of intent.

Dortmund’s £108m asking price has proven to be an impassable barrier for United. With time running out before the window closes something’s got to give.

According to the report, Dortmund are now ready to lower their demands. The Bundesliga giants are now willing to accept £95m for the player.

Doing so will prove Ed Woodward right. He had earlier made the decision to wait until the end of the window in order to lower the price. If the report is to be believed, he now stands vindicated. (h/t Express)

A right winger is at the top of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s priorities. There are few better in the world right now than Sancho.
