Superagent remains confident that Man United will bid for South American star

Pini Zahavi confident Manchester United will bid for Alex Telles

According to Portuguese publication A Bola via The People’s Person (h/t Daily Star), superagent Pini Zahavi is confident that Manchester United will bid for Alex Telles.

This comes after the Red Devils saw their interest in Sergio Reguilon get nowhere. The Spaniard is now on his way to Tottenham Hotspur. (h/t Express)

The major point of contention regarding Reguilon was Real’s insistence of inserting a buy-back clause. United remained adamant that they would not permit it, eventually losing out on the player. (h/t Express)

Alex Telles is a target for Manchester United

Another left-back who featured in the club’s list of targets was Alex Telles. The Brazilian looks set to leave Porto after four years with the Portuguese giants. (h/t Daily Star)

With his contract set to expire next summer, Porto are keen to sell him this window rather than lsoe him for free a year down the line. (h/t Daily Star)

With just under three weeks to go before the window closes, his agent Zahavi remains confident that it is just a matter of time before Untied make a bid. (h/t Daily Star)

A bargain we can afford!

According to the report, the 27-year-old will cost £18.5m. A steal for a player of his quality.

Adept in attack and defence, he would add much-needed dynamism on the flanks. More so he will also provide genuine competition at left-back for current number one Luke Shaw.

Telles is demanding £71000-a-week from Porto, a figure that United can afford if they want. To put things into perspective, we pay Sergio Romero, the third-choice keeper £70000-a-week.
