Twitter reacts as Anthony Martial wins Manchester United players’ Player of the Year award

According to the club’s official site, Anthony Martial has been named the Manchester United Players’ Player of the Year for 2019/20.

The 24-year-old is coming off the back of what has been his best season in Red. Martial scored 23 times in 48 appearances to finish as the club’s top scorer across all competitions.

Having taken over the number 9 jersey following Romelu Lukaku’s departure, Martial has spearheaded the United attack clinically.

His efforts also saw him finish second to Bruno Fernandes for the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year prize.
