Donny van de Beek pictured in Manchester United training for the first time
Manchester United new boy Donny van de Beek was pictured in his first training session for the club earlier today.
The 23-year-old is so far United’s major capture of the summer. An experienced midfielder, he played a key role in Ajax’s run to the Champions League semifinal in 2018/19.
The prospect of the energetic Dutchman playing alongside Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes is what dreams are made off. He took the first steps of doing just that as he was put through the paces at the Aon Complex.
Van de Beek could play in the club’s pre-season friendly against Aston Villa this weekend. The 23-year-old could potentially make his competitive debut against Crystal Palace when United get their Premier League campaign underway on September 19.
