According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United are looking to finalise agent salary and fees before submitting an official offer for Jadon Sancho.

The 20-year-old was manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s top target for the summer. Borussia Dortmund have however stayed firm on their asking price of £108million.

This led to the deal hitting a roadblock and has been the case over the past few weeks. It now appears that United are set to rekindle it.

According to the report, United are keen to sort out the salary and fees of the intermediaries involved first. Once that is done, they will make an official bid to Dortmund.

The Germans had earlier set a deadline of August 10 for United to complete a deal. Dortmund chief Michael Zorc made it clear in no uncertain terms that United have lost their opportunity.

Solskajer however is keen to bolster his attacking options ahead of next season. Former United star Darren Fletcher is also keen to see Sancho become a Red Devil. (h/t Daily Star)

The 20-year-old is one of the best young players in the world. The England international has shown that he has the attributes to become a world-beater in the future.

He will add quality and strength in depth to a United side that needs both. With the Champions League back on the table, the Red Devils will need a squad to compete on multiple fronts.
