Aston Villa want two Manchester Untied players as part of Jack Grealish transfer

According to the Daily Star, Aston Villa wants Sergio Romero and Diogo Dalot as a part of any transfer deal for Jack Grealish.

The Villans skipper is valued at a massive £75million. Adding in the players could see the price fall, much to our benefit.

The Villans are keen to strengthen their defence and see the United duo as just the players to do that.

Aston Villa are keen on Sergio Romero

Both players are not key members of the United squad going into next season. While Romero has proven to be a capable deputy, the arrival of Dean Henderson will further limit his opportunities.

According to the report, Romero will welcome the chance of regular football. He will find it much easier to come by at Villa Park.

Dalot meanwhile has struggled to make any sort of impact at United. The young defender has struggled with injuries during his stay at Old Trafford.

Diogo Dalot has no future at Manchester United

The signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka saw him drop to the bench as the young Englishman cemented himself as the club’s preferred right-back.

The fact that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer preferred Timothy Fosu-Mensah over him in the final phase of the season seems to indicate that the youngster’s days at the club are numbered.

Grealish meanwhile is a player that United want. No other English player created more chances than him last season.

The prospect of pairing the 24-year-old alongside Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes is a truly salivating thought.

The prospect of losing two fringe players to bring in someone of Grealish’s calibre is a win for us. It is something United must pursue.
