Ismaila Sarr yet to make a decision on his future
According to Les Echos (h/t Metro), Watford star Ismaila Sarr has opened up on his future amidst links with Manchester United.
The 22-year-old is also a key target for arch-rivals Liverpool. However with the Reds set for a frugal summer, it remains to be seen if they make a move.
United for their part have identified the young Senegalese as an alternative to Jadon Sancho. Capable of playing on either wing, Watford will seek more than £40million for their star winger.
Although Sarr is open to moving to Liverpool, he has not ruled out making a switch elsewhere. He admitted that there are offers on the table but he is yet to make a decision on his future.
“Frankly, I have yet to make a choice. If that were to happen, I just wish they were a good team. At the moment, there are only guesses.”
Primarily a right-winger, Sarr can play anywhere along the front line. He made his name at Ligue 1 side Rennes before moving to Vicarage Road last summer.
The Senegalese is Watford’s record signing with his contract at Vicarage Road runs until 2024. According to the Daily Mail, a clause in his contract allows Sarr the option to leave Watford as they are relegated.
