According to The Athletic, Manchester United have identified Ousmane Dembele as an alternative for Jadon Sancho.

It is not wise to put all our eggs in one basket and the club have identified an alternative, in the form of Dembele, if the Bundesliga ace stays put. (h/t The Athletic)
Dembele has endured a nightmare stay in Catalunya since his big money move in 2017. Although he has shown off his prodigious skill at times, he has barely made it to the pitch to be able to replicate it consistently.
During his three years at the Nou Camp, Dembele has made 74 appearances while scoring 19 goals and assisting 17 more. (h/t Transfermarkt)
A worrying statistic is however the number of games he has had to sit out. During this same time, he has missed 86 matches due to injury and two more due to suspension. A damning statistic for the club’s second most expensive player.
United are looking to add first-team quality to close the gap on Liverpool and Manchester City. Our arch rivals are currently the best two teams in the country and also among the best on the continent.
Dembele is currently recovering from yet another injury and will not take part in the current campaign. He has made just nine appearances for the Catalans this season, scoring a solitary goal. (h/t Transfermarkt)

There is no debate that when on song, Dembele is one of the most devastating players in the Barcelona attack.
The trick however remains in ensuring his fitness. There is no point in us securing a crocked player on the cheap, if we cannot use him as necessary.
It was reported by The Telegraph that United will drop their interest in Jack Grealish if Paul Pogba signs a new contract. If it does come to pass, we will be best served by going all out for Sancho.
