Frank Lampard pleads for patience regarding Mason Greenwood
According to the Mirror, Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has urged Mason Greenwood to be given time to mature and fulfil his potential.

One of the best midfielders in the Premier League era, Lampard knows what it takes to become a success both at the club and international level.
Currently nurturing a plethora of young players at Chelsea, Lampard has done well to get the best out of his youthful squad. He is certainly well placed to make an honest assessment of Greenwood’s future.
The duo of Marcus Rashford and Greenwood has a combined age of just 40. The same age at which former United star Teddy Sheringham continued to score for fun.
Having come through the ranks at United, both players know what is expected of them. If all goes well, we will have potentially two world-class attackers leading our line for the better part of a decade.
Greenwood’s form has led to clamour that he be called up for the England squad. With the Euros postponed to next summer, there is enough time for the teenager to grab Gareth Southgate’s attention.
