Ole Gunnar Solskajer to challenge Ed Woodward on transfers
According to the Standard, Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to challenge Ed Woodward on the club’s transfer business this summer.
The Norwegian has displayed an uncanny ability to get the best out of his transfers. He has made five moves since replacing Jose Mourinho in 2018. With all of them proving successful, Solskjaer is not keen to end things there.
United are keen to sign Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish. Both players will add immense quality to our squad.
Solskajer has turned the club’s fortunes around since the turn of the new year. The club are currently on a 16-game unbeaten run since losing 2-0 to Liverpool at Anfield.
Despite the progress shown, we are still some way away from challenging the top teams. The front three of Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford have all thrived of late.
Solskjaer believes that the addition of Sancho will add another dimension to the frontline.
The same goes for Grealish. According to the Express, the Villa skipper is set to move in the summer and has already started house-hunting ahead of a potential transfer.
With the COVID-19 pandemic affecting club finances all across the world, our ability to spend big is in question. Instead, United will have to be smart and find value in players than throwing cash at it.
