Ole Gunnar Solskjaer provides the latest team news ahead of Brighton clash
Speaking to the club’s official site and offering an update on the team news, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed he has a full squad to choose from for the PL clash against Brighton.
United return to league action after defeating Norwich City en route to the FA Cup semifinals. With a win taking us to potentially two points off Chelsea, it is essential that we take all three points.
“I think the buzz and the energy that the win and a semi-final place will give you will help us tomorrow night.”
Solskjaer believes that the win against Norwich will give his players the push they require to keep the run going. United are currently on a 15 game unbeaten run running all the way to January.
The United boss rung in the changes as eight players came in for the clash at Carrow Road. Considering it went to extra time, the rotation will have done the players a world of good.
One player who looks likely to start his third game on the trot is Luke Shaw. The left-back has earned his manager’s confidence after a run of fine form.
“Luke has had a good upturn in form. He’s playing some good football, let’s see if he starts this one.”
Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones remain the only players sidelined for the fixture.
