Twitter reacts as Scott McTominay pens Manchester United extension until 2025
As confirmed by the club’s official site, Scott McTominay has signed a new contract that will keep him at ManchesterUntied until 2025.
It also includes a clause for another year, potentially taking his stay at the club until 2026.
The 23-year-old came through the ranks at United before making his first-team bow in 2017. He has since made 75 appearances and has scored 7 goals and one assist. (h/t Transfermarkt)
An embodiment of the midfielders of the past, McTominay is a battler who understands what it means to don the famous red shirt.
He expressed joy at signing the extension and hopes to play a key role in the team’s development.
“I’m so happy to sign this contract and play a part in the future ahead for this team.”
